New Home Project Continued

Here is the front room when you first come in the door.  The color in this room will be changed (as will all the yellow rooms)
Living Room looking into kitchen and hallway.
This small room is off the living room and was once the garage.
It has some great storage closets and Em plans on using this room for her office.  We already have a really cute piece of carpet to replace the one currently in there.
The floors throughout the rest of the house are in excellent condition.  The house was built in 1968 and from the look of these floors - I think they've been covered with carpet for many of those years.
The following pictures are some of her inspiration pieces.  She would like a built in bookshelf look for her office.  There is a front window in that room that she's thinking would be nice with a window seat.  She still has to run all this by her builder (he dad), so we'll see what his opinion is on this project.
She's really liking the dark chocolate brown for her bedroom.  She has all white furniture, so she just has to make a decision...cause she also likes a light teal blue.

We begin this Friday...so I guess Front Porch Friday is now going to be at Emily's until further notice.  I'll post more pictures from Friday's work and keep you up on the progress.  We're hoping to have all the work done by the end of the month so she can move in.
Yikes...I still have cushions to cover for her couch!

Till next time,
debi
