I found this little gem along the curb! I'm sure they threw it out because of the old, dirty formica top!

A fresh coat of paint, some dark glaze and decoupage over the formica!
This old piece was badly scarred on the top and the finish was scratched.
A complete sanding across the top and light sanding all over.
I also decoupaged some scrapbook paper over the top, then glued a cut out of the little boy on top of that! I used Fragile Crackle over the whole top to give it a really aged effect.
Dresser Before

Dresser after will teal paint and hand painted design around the edges.
This is very easy to do with "border designs" availble in Microsoft Word.
Print out your design and use tracing paper to transfer to your furniture piece. You can draw as much, or as little of the design as you need to complete the curly cues!
